I love Abilene, Texas. My family moved to Abilene in 1990. After living in San Antonio, Texas, all my life, I wasn’t sure I would adjust to this West Texas community but it has been nothing short of wonderful. My family loves the community and schools.
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Roger Spivey, and we have three beautiful daughters and a wonderful grandson.
Our oldest daughter, Traci, is a graduate of Texas Tech University and married to Matthew Poynor, who is also an Engineering graduate of Texas Tech University. Our middle daughter, Ashley, is currently pursuing her Education Major at Hardin Simmons University. Ashley wants to teach secondary education. Our youngest daughter, Jessica, is attending Cisco Jr. College where she is pursuing her academics to move on to a university where she will also pursue a degree in Education.
Our babies are our miniature schnauzers, PJ and Roxie. We are members of the Southside Baptist Church and active in the Emmaus Community.
I am a goal-oriented person and love serving others. I worked for a motivational coaching team called Southwest Winners in San Antonio where I learned time management and the importance of team work. I use these skills today in my real estate business.
